Mark and I have such a wonderful family! The last night that we were in Pennsylvania they threw a surprise baby shower for us! It was SO great. All of my aunts, uncles, cousins and close family friends were there. We had a big cookout with all sorts of great dishes like grilled chicken and veggies, potato salad, coleslaw, southwest salad, cheese fondue, and my dad’s famous baked beans! It was fabulous! And dessert was to die for too. There must have been ten different things to choose from
but my favorite were my Nana’s famous rollout cookies! It was so nice to see everyone and to be able to sit around, eat good food and just visit. The gifts were awesome too. Everyone went way overboard with everything. We received so many nice things like our travel swing, tons of baby clothes, towels, diapers, toys and even a star registry. All we have to do with that is once B-C gets here and we know for sure if its a Brooks or a
Charlotte we can register their name and there will be an official star named after them. How cool is that? We even started a baby pool. We all went around the group guessing B-C's birth date, sex, and weight. We wrote down everyone’s guesses and I plan on putting them into a website that will keep track of everyone’s info. We will also be able to send it out to all of our friends and family to get their guesses too. So be on the lookout for a baby pool invite soon! Like I said we have an amazing family and both Mark and I feel so loved.
