Can you believe that it is already the end of March??? The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of special events for us...so join us for a "picture-story" of the all the fun! Here we go!
We were so excited to have Campbell baptized at church. It was such a special day that we got to share with a lot of our family. Both my parents were able to come as well as Mark's mom and my sister Becky. A few of our friends joined us to and to make it even more special Nyrla and Chris had Tiago dedicated on the same day! The service was so meaningful for us and even though Brooks decided to ham it up on stage is was perfect! Campbell was just big enough to wear the same gown that Brooks wore...another special moment!

| Baptism day...Brooks and Mark looked so spify in their ties! |
| How cute are these two babies??? |

Our weekends are always busy with family activities and traveling but during the week Brooks, Campbell and I are able to get out and about and do all sorts of activities...everything from going to Disney World to the park! It is non-stop fun for sure!
| We got to take Brooks on the Dumbo ride for the first time...so much fun to see him so excited! |
| He loved pushing the button to make us go higher! |
| He wanted to do it again! Too bad the line was over a 40 minute wait!!! |
| On the train ride around the Magic Kingdom with his PG. |
| One day we took a day trip to Tampa to see Becky and Troy...here we are at lunch. Brooks loves his Aunt Becca! |
| Look at those two handsome guys! They are watching a cruise ship take off... |
Brooks and I got to go on a very special date a few weeks ago. Disney live came to the UCF Arena and so Ny and I decided it would be fun to take our "big kids" on a mommy date. We waited until the day before to tell the kids and boy oh boy were they excited! It was such a great afternoon and the kids had a blast seeing Mickey and all his friends!
| All ready to see Mickey!!! |

| The next morning Brooks had to tell Campbell all about the show! Campbell is not so sure that he believes all he is hearing! |
| Then Brooks pulled out his Mickey hat and wanted to try it on Baby Campbell... |
| Now that was crazy!!! |
Here we are at the park with some friends...it never seems to bother Brooks when he is the only boy playing among all the girls! He's such a little dude!

Another weekday trip we took was to St. Augustine to spend some time with my dad and our friends the Ely's from Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful day and the boys were super trooper travelers! We got to go to the beach and then took a tour of the Old City. Brooks loved hanging out with the teenagers and had a blast exploring the Fort.

| Campbell enjoyed his first trip to the beach...I'm sure he will be a beach bunny too! |

| After a long afternoon, it was time to head back to the car and Orlando...what a fun day! |
Since we've been spending a lot of time at home lately (hard to believe but it's true!!!) we decided that it was time to get Brooks a sandbox for the backyard (don't worry...it has a lid!!!) He loves it and would seriously spend the entire day playing, digging and building! He got to share all the sandy fun with his GJ and Aunt Lyn when she came to visit. They all had a good time together. My niece Caroline came down to spend her spring break with us and so she and Brooks spent many long hours together...he loved the one on one attention and I loved all the help! Caroline, you and Julie Ann are welcome to come and stay with us any time you like! :)
| He even let his cousin Caroline share his sandbox...now that is LOVE! :) |
| Aunt Lyn getting come Campbell love |
| Brooks was waiting on the garbage truck to come...I'm sure Caroline was just as excited! |
One of Brooks' new obsessions is Jake and the Neverland Pirates...it's a new show on Disney and he LOVES it! One afternoon out of the blue he asked me to make him a pirate ship. I had to think fast and this is what I came up with!
| This is a typical morning at our house...Brooks watching Jake while sitting in his very own pirate ship...please notice the scarf tied around his head,.,just like Jake! |
Just last week, Mark and I got to celebrate our 7th year wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful day so Mark and I took a date to Leu Gardens. Here are some pics that we took while we wandered the gardens. Dinner followed and it was delicious!
We made a fun investment this past week...we bought a family pass to the Orlando Science Center! It was literally a mile from our house and such a fun (and educational) place for Brooks and Campbell. It's fun for mommy and daddy too...lots of perks for the grown ups!
| Daddies and their boys at the science center |
| Daddy and Campbell just a rockin |
| Brooks loved seeing all the animals, snakes, sting-rays and dino bones! |
So that is all that we've been up to...busy I know but I promise we are starting to slow down! :) Here is what's been going on with the boys...there's lots to tell!
Brooks' biggest accomplishment since our last post is that he is now wearing big boy underwear!!! Yes that's right! My mom looked up the signs in the Farmer's Almanac and it told us the "signs were in the feet" and that it was the prime time to potty train this week...it also helped that we were out of size 5 Pampers! He's been doing a fantastic job keeping his "underwears" dry and he loves all the "special treats" he gets when he goes peepee in the potty. Number 2 is another story but we are getting there! It's one day at a time!
| This is the first time B did his business all on his own...he actually gets annoyed with me when I keep asking him if he has to "go". He let's me know and so far so good! We had no wet accidents all day today!!! |
| Hanging out in the living room in his big boy underwear and his potty. We've been speding a LOT of time just hanging out this week! |
| He loves it when we tell him how proud we are of him and his success...he's such a great kid! |
So what about Mr. Campbell? Well he is almost 4 months old and he is really starting to fill out. He's up to 13 pounds and continues to eat like a champ...there are days when all he wants to do is nurse...morning, noon and all night! *sigh* This to will pass...we actually made a visit to the doctor this week to double check a few "issues" we've been having with the boy. He checked out perfectly healthy, growing like a weed, and very feisty! As per the doctor's orders, we started Campbell on rice cereal at night before bed. He LOVES it and is such a little piggy! Here are a few pictures of his first experience with eating the cereal from a spoon...yum yum!
| I couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough! |
| Mmmmm! That's good stuff! |
As you will be able to tell from the next few pictures, Campbell is really growing and his personality is starting to shine! He is such a smiley baby and believe it or not but he has dimples just like his big brother! We are still a little perplexed as to from where the boys inhereted their adoreable dimples...I could just eat them both up! Just this week Campbell has mastered the art of rolling over from back to front and just today he showed me that he also can roll from his front to back. I swear it is something new each day with him. Everything with Camp is happening so fast...I hope I will remember to slow down and enjoy these sweet moments and accomplishment.
| Even though his hand is covering his mouth you can still tell he is smiling by his eyes...he's becoming so expressive and I love it! |
| Playing "patty cake" with PG...one of his favorites that he will always smile for! |
| Life is too short not to slow down to enjoy this precious baby! |
