April, May and June...oh where have you gone???

So you know you've not blogged in a long time when you have so many pictures to choose from that you end up leaving half of them out because you don't have time to upload them all! So due to free time (which is very rare these days) this post will be in the form of pictures and short stories! I know that all of these are not in perfect order so bear with me!
It's been since a little before Easter since I've posted (bad blogger!) but life has been pretty hectic around the Batia house. Most of it has been fun but we've had our fair share of down times too. So let's begin with some fun! The first (large) set of pictures were all taken from my phone!

Well let's start with the real reason for blogging tonight...Campbell cut his first tooth today!!! This is a terrible picture but you get the point! I figured since I have missed blogging about the majority Camp's milestones that I better get my rear in gear and start again!

Hanging out in Tampa at Aunt Becca and Uncle Troy's

Ny and I getting ready to run the Iron Girl 1/2 Marathon in Clearwater! It kicked my booty!

We had shirts made that said "SAHM's (Stay at Home Moms) Running for Sanity!" So fitting!!!

Since my last post Campbell has really started to "roll". Here he is heading for some toys.

And over he goes!

An adorable outfit thanks to Uncle Rick...it says "iPood" :)

Here is the start of the never ending visits to the pediatrician. This is Campbell's first run in with RSV that caused him to have major wheezing...very scary and no fun to be had by any of us!

Happy boy!

Brooks is a great big brother...here he is trying to get Camp to look at the camera!

The Kelly's came down to Orlando for a visit and Brooks had a great time hanging out with Owen at the pool and Disney World!
We were lucky enough to get to go over to Anna Maria Island again this Spring. We had an amazing time enjoying this awesome beach!

Camp and Mommy...just a swingin'

And here we are with Brooks' battle with a nasty virus that turned into Croup. After a very scary trip to the ER, he was admitted for 3 days so that they could stabilize his airway. We had amazing doctors and nurses taking care of us and he made a perfect recovery!

I think the IV was the saddest part of the whole deal...poor guy didn't know what to do without the use of his left hand.

He actually enjoyed the hospital food and all the fun things that he got to do with "playtime" specialist that came by to make his stay "not so bad." He was able to paint, color, play with play dough, and take wagon rides once he was off the IV fluids.

And guess who caught the cold next? Yep! Campbell and I were both sick but lucky for both of us it never turned into anything too serious.
A few weeks ago, I was able to take Brooks to Sea World for the very first time (well that he can remember!) We had so much fun meeting up with Andrea, Brady, Kristen, Hudson and their grandmothers! It was a full day with lots of sea-life fun!

Enjoying the Sea lion show...it was right up Brooks' ally...all about pirates!

Playing with Uncle Richard in his little pool at PG's...I'm not sure if there's room for both of them!

Learning to warm up on the concrete after a long afternoon in the pool! :)
Last time we talked, Camp was rolling over...now he's up on all fours trying to crawl! Oh my!!!

And here he goes!!!! Our lives will never be the same! :)

We're trying to find ways to beat the unbelievable heat this summer...keeping a two year old occupied inside is an art...so art it is!

What a happy boy! Now that he's able to move around and sit up...man oh man he is a new baby!

And let's don't forget he has started eating solids this past week...and he is in love! Watch out! As of today, oatmeal is his favorite!

A sweet picture of Brooks reading to Camp...it's the little things that make being a mama so sweet.

Beating the heat...comando style! It was no-suit Friday!

We had an amazing Easter this year. The weather was beautiful and spending time with family and friends even better.

Mark, his mom (GJ) and the boys

Brooks loved his Easter basket this year...it was full of pirate and dinosaur toys!

We had a fun little easter egg hunt in our backyard with a few of our friends... so much fun watching the kids find eggs.

Checking out the loot!

Taking part in a new Easter tradition, breaking real egg shells filled with confetti on the parent's heads...thanks for sharing this with us Martin, Joanna, and Gianna!

We had a lot of company this spring too...our friend Sarah Ressel from Germany came back over for a visit and Haley came in from Colorado for a few days. Here we are at the beach with Haley!

Haley and Campbell...it was the first time they had met!

Camp loved Haley...quite content as you can tell!

We even had time for a girls night out...fun to be had by all!

Uncle Richard and his crew have been down quite a few times this spring and summer...we've had such a great time as always. Here we are cheering on my old Alma Mater in the high school softball state championship...Julie Ann's team did great but were not able to pull of a win. Brooks loved watching the game!

All smiles even though it was a tough loss.

This was the first time Campbell tried puffs...he was not sure what to think but he was definitely willing to try more!

Hanging out at PG's house...Brooks is trying on PopPop's glasses...he thought he was very funny!

PopPop was finally able to get his glasses back so that he could read a book to Brooks...I have this moment on video...too funny!

Eating solids for the first time...yum yum!

Helping himself!

Here is B reading to C again...all about trains this time!

Father's Day weekend we made the trip up to Perry. We had a great time visiting family and my dad. Here are some fun pictures of the crazy water balloon fight we had at Richard's house...everybody got in on the fun...even Brooks! He was deadly with the water hose!

The girls team!

The boys...they cheated!!!! :)

Balloons are flying!

In April, Mark and I made the decision to both be baptized at our church's beach baptism. It was an awesome afternoon at the beach where over 100 folks were baptized including JJ Reddick. Very cool!

Under we go!

Our friends Kristen and Brain here there too...it was such a fun day.

And how could I forget to blog about my amazing birthday/mother's day gift??? Mark surprised me with a beach trip to Palm Coast for Memorial Day weekend. I actually got to go over early with Ny and my mom for 2 days without the kids...it was heaven and a much needed time away. It made it especially sweet when the daddies showed up with the kids on Friday to join us for the weekend. It was an unbelievable trip! Thank you Mark!

Rejuvenated mommies with their baby boys!

And last but not least, here is a sweet picture of my sweet baby boy. I promise to dedicate the next blog to him...it will be all about his milestones, 6 month check up stats, and an explanation of all his tummy issues. I'm just so thankful for a healthy, happy family. The Lord is so good and we ace truly been blessed!

Abbie - your boys are so handsome! (Im so sorry you guys battled such bad bugs this spring that must have been so hard and frightening too) Oh my word that family photo on the front page of your blog is GORGEOUS! You know Brooks is exactly who I pictured when you guys had your first, he is an Abbie/Mark baby. SO cute - what a little man. But oh my word, this mister Campbell is here and he is SUCH a hunk. He has his own little look and its such a little heart throb! I love it! Aww, we miss you guys so much. Love you! Su
