Can you believe that our Campbell is already two years old? Don't worry, neither can we! Camp is such a fun addition to our family and there are time when I feel like he doesn't get the recognition he deserves...(insert middle child guilt here!) All of a sudden he is this "big" boy wanting to do big boy things! He is such a chatter box and is starting to give Brooks a run for his money in the talking department! The kid is a mess. I call him my "high drama" child because he is either all or nothing. There is a cute little nursery rhyme that I change up and it fits Campbell to a T! It goes a little something like this...
There was a little boy
Who had one curl
Right in the middle of his forehead.
When he was good,
He was very very good.
But when he was bad,
He was horrid!
Yep! That pretty much sums up our Camp! He really is such a fun and sweet kid to be around but man oh man...don't cross him!
Campbell has somewhat of a charming personality. He has already mastered the art of wrapping folks around his little finger...his blonde curls and big blue eyes help him out but it really is his personality that seals the deal. He seriously has several of the preschool teachers at the boy's school in his back pocket! Brooks' teacher for one told me that "he has stolen her heart!" Oh my! If this is what he is doing at two can you imagine what is in store when he becomes a teenagers! I'm going to have to lock him up! :) He is very outgoing and just loves social settings. He has really taken to preschool and loves his teachers. Camp actually cries to go on days that he doesn't attend school but Brooks does...it's crazy! "My go to school too Momma!" I just love to hear him refer to himself as "my" or in the third person...it's just so cute! He knows all the names of the other kids in his class but if you ask him who was at school today he will just say "Tiago!"...that's his best friend...of course!
This year for Campbell's birthday we decided to have a PJ's and Pancake Party! I have to say that it was definitely one of the better parties that I've put together. Since his birthday falls between Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's always a little difficult to get everyone together to celebrate...it's just a busy time of year! Well when your birthday is this close to the holidays, what better way to celebrate than in your Christmas pajamas! The party started at 9am and we literally had breakfast together! His birthday cake was even a coffee cake...his personal favorite! We decorated Christmas cookies and the kids and parents just chilled out and ate pancakes in their Pjs! It was awesome and SO comfortable! So here are the pictures from our fun morning celebrating our not so little boy!

| My three little loves |
On Campbell's actual birthday (the following Monday) we decided to have a family fun day and we pretty much let Camp dictate what we did. He decided that he wanted to go to Bass Pro Shop and it ended up being a great decision! First of all there was NOBODY there...we practically had the place to ourselves. They also had the entire place decorated up for Christmas and that included Santa's workshop and play area. It was like taking two little boys to Disney World without the crowds and cost! It was perfect and the boys had a blast!
 |
| Happy birthday Camp! |
 |
| Brooks loved the carousel...Camp wasn't as thrilled! |
For his birthday dinner he said he wanted to go to Burger Fi...not that he eats anything there besides the french fries! But we humored him just the same and we all had a great time!
 |
| Chowing down on French fries! |
 |
| The manager was so sweet when he found out it was Camp's birthday...he brought him a huge red velvet cupcake and both boys frozen custard! |
To end this little tribute to our two year old I thought I would post the Q & A that I had him answer...it's sort of a "all about me" list...thought it would be fun to do this every year to see how things change! :)
